The Force that drives us
Our values are those of yesterday, of today, and more importantly, those of tomorrow
The Union des Vignerons des Côtes du Rhône is a union of French wine cooperatives created by local growers in 1965 in the southern Rhone valley. Our growers are at the heart of our organisation’s governance and development project. They determine its strategic guidelines and are trusted, long-term suppliers of the wines that we blend and package.
And now encompass some 12,000 hectares of vines tended by 2,000 families, We have been a major player in the Rhone Valley and other French vineyards for almost 60 years. Our CELLIER DES DAUPHINS brand stands as a shining example of our collective success.
Our sun-drenched vineyards comprise around 20 different appellations, planted with Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Viognier, and many other emblematic Rhone grapes varieties.
The cooperative model that we operate, although it was created more than 150 years ago, remains as relevant today as ever, offering as it does an effective response to current economic, social, and environmental challenges. It reconciles economic solidarity with entrepreneurial freedom, and brings renown to our region.
